Job Description

EH&S POLICY AND CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Require through knowledge of EH&S guidelines for working in a factory shopfloor environment.
  • Responsible for keeping themselves updated on statutory guidelines issued by the local governing bodies and Govt. bodies.
  • Reduce safety related risks in store controlled areas through proper risk assessment
  • Need to have through knowledge of risks involved in MHE’s like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Has to abide by the organization’s code of conduct policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Has to manage day to day inventory accuracy and shift end activities from production to warehouse.
  • Managing inventory BIN location physically and in SAP ensuring FIFO is followed always.
  • Creating REO plan for inventory re-arrangement so that space allocation is done for new production material and material movement as per FIFO.
  • Pallet management and timely escalations of shortages.
  • Assigning shift manpower and forklifts as per daily planning.
  • Coordinating with various CFT for handling issues arising in day-to-day working.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy is matching 100% physically and in SAP.
  • Reviewing HIRA and SOPs and making modifications as and when required.
  • Leading physical stock verification activities as per defined guidelines and preparing gameplan for gaps.
  • Managing dispatches through timely prestage and inventory availability.
  • Preparing CAPA for customer complaints raised due to SCM and executing solid action plans for mitigation of root cause.
  • Ensuring all KPIs of department are met with through action plan on lagging indicators.
  • Training and development of worker level employees to meet the skill matrix requirements.
  • Following a proactive approach by Timely escalation of issues to the supervisor and not allowing things to fail
  • Timely addressal of shopfloor events like safety incidents, material breakages, operator grievances and delay of work. 

Qualifications

Any Degree 

or Diploma in Material Management
